Jan's Dance Studio

Our journey with JDS started in the summer of 2011 with Princess Camp and our girls have never looked back! They have learned to appreciate the arts and the discipline of dance through the wide variety of classes offered at the studio. They have gained confidence and thrived in the supportive atmosphere promoted by the teachers, other dancers, and all the dance families!

My daughter Madeline started dancing at Jan’s when she was 4 years old, progressing from regular weekly dance classes, to joining Company and then competition. She has had amazing dance teachers and instruction in a variety of styles of dance. She also has had the opportunity to assist, teach and choreograph for younger kids. The life lessons instilled in her from her years at JDS will guide her with future endeavors. Madeline has developed lifelong friendships, as has our family. We are grateful to everyone at the JDS family and would recommend them to any individual looking for a dance home.

Jan’s Dance Studio has been Sophie’s second home for more than a decade. She has made lifelong friends who are part of her dance family. The team supports and encourages each other and helps to lift each other up. The instructors have not only helped to instill in Sophie a tremendous love of dance, but have cultivated a strong work ethic and a commitment to being part of a team and something bigger than herself. So many life lessons are learned on and off the stage, all helping to shape the dancers into the best version of themselves.

What started as testing out dance with the JDS Princess Dance Camp has turned into a love of dance that includes multiple weekly classes in a variety of genres! The teachers are kind and fun. They care about creating a love for the sport and they care about the girls as people outside of the dance world. We are so thankful for all of the opportunities the past seven years has given my oldest daughter and the past two years for my youngest daughter. The encouragement from girls of all ages shown toward our daughters is amazing. I love to see the joy dance has brought our girls and we are so thankful to call Jan’s Dance Studio home!

Ever since my daughter walked through the doors as a 3-year-old, she has been in love with dance! Her life was forever changed for the better because of all of the teachers and students at Jan's Dance Studio! What we love most is that she is learning so much more than dance. She is building so many positive traits: hard work, discipline, work ethic and character. The teachers and staff not only support each other, but also work hard to help each dancer develop positive skills that will impact them for the rest of their lives. We look forward to many more years as part of the JDS family!

This is our 3rd year with Jan's Dance Studio and we each year our experience only gets better!  From ballet, tap and jazz to lyrical, hip-hop, and pointe, my girls love their classes each week.  And, I love that they are getting quality instruction and personalized attention every step of the way.  Jan's Dance is where we see our girls for many years to come!
