STEVE EWING: Steve Ewing began his dance career at 12 at the well-known Bryant Ballet in Chicago. At the age of 16, Steve was teaching students of his own. After completing his B.A. in Theatre from Millikin University, Steve became a part of the largely successful Broadway smash-hit musical, WICKED, where he performed the role of Chistery for nearly 3 years. Along with performing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, his other credits include numerous industrials with such employers as Cirque Du Soliel, Discover Card, and The Pampered Chef; yummy! You can even find Steve in the Encyclopedia Britannica for Health under Dance. Also a faculty member of Street of Dreams dance convention, The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago and Guest Faculty at EDGE P.A.C. in LA, Steve’s unique style combines his classical training with a new, edgy feel that evokes emotions in all whom he encounters!

Our first Master Class was held October 3rd at Jan's Dance Studio.  We were so excited to have a performer of Alina's caliber come and teach the youth of the Springfield area.

Master Class Teacher Bio

Alina Williams fell in love with performing the first time she stepped onstage at 4 years old.  Since then, Alina has danced all over the world as a dance captain and assistant choreographer for Celebrity Cruise Lines.  She has performed with both the Cincinnati and Dayton ballet companies.  Alina has also been a part of the Las Vegas production Spellbound where she had her first taste of magic. Since working as a dancer and magician’s assistant in Spellbound, she went on to star alongside Greg Gleason in Gleason Magic, as well as assist, choreograph, and perform with Seigfreid and Roy’s Darren Romeo production. Her favorite career achievement is dancing as a member of the Radio City Rockettes.  She has been a part of the world famous precision dance troop since 2005.  She has been seen dancing with the Rockettes on the popular ABC show  Dancing with the Stars and the Ellen Degeneres Show. You can also see her in country music videos with John Rich, and in Tim McGraw and Gweneth Paltrow’s upcoming movie, Country Strong.
