Jan's Dance Studio

The Dazzler Dance Company has been wowing audiences across the country for over twenty years.  The children involved in the company range in ages from seven to eighteen and are selected through an annual audition process.  The company provides local youth with numerous local and national performance opportunities.   This experience has been instrumental in the company proudly producing several alumni that are currently performing professionally on Broadway, cruise ships and at Disney World.

Each year the Dazzlers perform at the Illinois Building during the Illinois State Fair and this year they are honored to be the opening act of the Fair! In the past the company has performed at Walt Disney World and Disney Land.  They have been invited back to perform several times and have appeared on the stages of the Magic Kingdom in total three times.

They have also performed aboard Carnival Cruise lines MS. Sensation and MS. Fantasy, Norwegian’s MS. Dreamward, Royal Caribbean’s MS. Explorer of the Seas, Celebrity’s MS. Horizon and at the Bermuda Naval Dockyard.

Locally the Company performs at several nursing homes each season, participates in parades for various holidays, and has been know to lend their dancing feet to charity events for organizations such as local food pantries.  They have also entertained audiences at the Miss Capitol City and Miss Springfield Pageants in the past years. In addition, each year the company performs in Jan’s Dance Studio’s spring production at the Hoogland Center for the Arts. 

Recent Events

Support the Henson Robinson Zoo and stop by the Dazzler's Booth at Zoohlie Ghoolie Oct. 23rd & 24th as well as 30th & 31st.  Plus get some yummy trick or treats!

Come see the Dazzler's Perform at the Festival of Trees, Friday November 26th at noon.

Dazzlers will be performing their annual Holiday Show at Lewis Memorial Christian Village, Dec. 19th at 2pm.

The Dazzlers will for the first time be performing at First Night Springfield at 2pm at Springfield High School Auditorium!!!

The Dazzler team will be traveling to Chicago to take part in JUMP international dance convention and competition January 21-23rd.

The Dazzler Competition team will be competing for national titles at Showstopper Talent Competition and Hall or Fame Competition in St. Louis this Spring.
