Jan's Dance Studio

JDS Alumni Denise Bennett recently completed a contract dancing on board Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines "Enchantment of the Seas." She is a graduate of Point Park University with a BFA in Dance Performance and studied on scholarship at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in New York City. This summer she will be performing, New Dances in Chicago with Thodos Dance Chicago.

Christina Duarte-Noe, JDS alumni, recently completed a dance contract at Disney World and is now dancing for Carnival Cruise Lines. She is currently dancing on the MS. Conquest.

Gretchen Burghart, JDS alumni, appeared in the First National Broadway Tour of "Legally Blonde." as well as the National tours of "Fame" and "Cabaret". She also performed in the off-broadway production of "On the Town" and currently is a judge for Showstoppers, Applause, and Talent on Parade National Talent competitions.

Deanna Helton, JDS alumni, is a recent graduate of SIUE with a Bachelor of Science in Theater and Dance with a dance concentration.  She is currently employed at Walt Disney World as a dancer/entertainer!!!!!

Elisabeth Kluge, JDS alumni, graduated with a dance minor from Millikin University.

Shannon Boggs Owens, graduated from ISU with a minor in Dance.  She recently opened up her own dancing school in Southern Illinois.  Best of luck with your new school Shannon.  We are so proud of you!

Tiffany Carter, JDS alumni, graduated from Hope College with a degree in elementary education and a dance minor.  She is now an elementary teacher!

Hannah Phillips, a recent Glenwood High School graduate will be attending Millikin University in the fall as a dance minor. She will also be part of the Universities dance team.

Bridget Armstrong is a first grade teacher at Auburn Elementary and co-owner of Jan's Dance Studio.  She is certified through Southern National Association of Dance Masters.

Adam Miller recently graduated from Millikin University with a degree in vocal performance. At Millikin Adam was involved in the dance program. Congratulations Adam!
